I can't answer your qmail/Plesk questions. I have no experience with
either.

RedHat has done this in order to make the installation Filesystem
Hierarchy Standard (FHS) compliant. So far, this is just RedHat's
package. Which way you go I think should be decided on your preference
for install from source vs. install from package.

That said, if you need help from this list, we are going to be more
familiar with the source install.
