Running your own mail server is a non-trivial task. Go look at the FAQ and documentation at sendmail.org or postfix.org to get an idea of the level of complexity involved in that process. Adding a mailing list server on top of that is also a non-trivial task. Again, go look at the documentation and FAQ at <http://www.list.org/docs.html> and <http://www.python.org/cgi-bin/faqw-mm.py?req=index>, respectively. First thing I'd recommend is for you to take a look at getting a better list hosting facility, starting with the information in <http://www.python.org/cgi-bin/faqw-mm.py?req=show&file=faq01.017.htp>. From there you should have a better idea if you really want to do this yourself on your own machine, or if you want to use hosting facilities from somewhere else. -- Brad Knowles, <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> "Those who would give up essential Liberty, to purchase a little temporary Safety, deserve neither Liberty nor Safety." -- Benjamin Franklin (1706-1790), reply of the Pennsylvania Assembly to the Governor, November 11, 1755 Founding Individual Sponsor of LOPSA.
