But there is a better way. Include a header in the post Urgent: <password> where <password> is the list admin or moderator password and the post will be sent to all list members regardless of topic filters, delivery status or regular/digest. Note that this must be a message header. putting it in the body will only result in the password being sent to the list. Martin used Thunderbird to send the OP.
