I have no idea what is in this Debian document, but the best instructions for Mailman/Exim integration are documents linked from <http://www.python.org/cgi-bin/faqw-mm.py?req=show&file=faq01.019.htp> As far as POSTFIX_STYLE_VIRTUAL_DOMAINS is concerned, this is only applicable if you are using Postfix and have set MTA = 'Postfix' in mm_cfg.py.
