Yes, Mailman has log files. With a source install, they are in
~mailman/logs (/usr/local/mailman/logs by default). If you can't find
them, look in mm_cfg.py and Defaults.py for the definition of LOG_DIR.

Look specifically at smtp and smtp-failure.

Also, what is your mm_cfg.py setting (if any, if not Defaults.py) for
SMTPHOST. If it is the default 'localhost' then your mail is
definitely going through the local postfix and if anyone is getting
it, there should be something in maillog. Try

  grep mtwg-prayer /var/log/maillog
