I prefer to use sync_members rather than remove_members and add_members. ~ With sync_members you need only keep the list of who should be on the list. When you run it, mailman will remove those currently on the list who are not in your file and add those from the file who are not on the list. This works well when using a separate system to keep track of subscriptions or generating your subscription list from some other database. In this example, you'd create a file called dailylist-members.txt that contains the list of email addresses that should be on the list. I'd recommend the following command: ~ /usr/lib/mailman/bin/sync_members -g=no -w=no -a=no -f dailymail-members.txt dailymail For full usage info, use /usr/lib/mailman/bin/sync_members -h - -- ~ Steve -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.4.7 (GNU/Linux) Comment: Using GnuPG with Fedora - http://enigmail.mozdev.org iD8DBQFHklJUeERILVgMyvARArS2AJ9O0ubev5PGuWqK7sKURvw4AFQVzACfei+t sgXGYzJgPn39tgf9zmurVes= =8ma+ -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- ------------------------------------------------------ Mailman-Users mailing list Mailman-Users@python.org http://mail.python.org/mailman/listinfo/mailman-users Mailman FAQ: http://www.python.org/cgi-bin/faqw-mm.py Searchable Archives: http://www.mail-archive.com/mailman-users%40python.org/ Unsubscribe: http://mail.python.org/mailman/options/mailman-users/archive%40jab.org Security Policy: http://www.python.org/cgi-bin/faqw-mm.py?req=show&file=faq01.027.htp
