Well I found a workaround for my problem. I used in the CGIEmail, as was suggested yesterday, to just use an email address in the FROM line of my CGI form file that was accepted by the email list and it worked famously.
I don't know why I had not thought of that but I appreciate the insight and direction that was given. Thanks so much for all the help and the responses.
