Mailman connects to the news server as a regular user, not as another server. In other words, it should log in with the userid and password of a specific user. Some news servers direct server-to-user traffic through certain protocols on certain servers, and server-to-server traffic through different protocols to other servers. Make sure you're using the right protocol with the right userid and password, to the right server. -- Brad Knowles <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> LinkedIn Profile: <http://tinyurl.com/y8kpxu> ------------------------------------------------------ Mailman-Users mailing list Mailman-Users@python.org http://mail.python.org/mailman/listinfo/mailman-users Mailman FAQ: http://www.python.org/cgi-bin/faqw-mm.py Searchable Archives: http://www.mail-archive.com/mailman-users%40python.org/ Unsubscribe: http://mail.python.org/mailman/options/mailman-users/archive%40jab.org Security Policy: http://www.python.org/cgi-bin/faqw-mm.py?req=show&file=faq01.027.htp
