Dear Marc,
Nothing you did "created" that option. That option was always there. The purpose of the script was to set the option to No for all lists so you wouldn't have to do it manually for each list via the web. If that didn't happen, there was something wrong with the script or the way it was run.
Now I am even more ashamed... I am sorry to have created so much list traffic when the option was already there. Somehow I overlooked it because I never needed to configure digest options...
