The "listname-bounce" localpart is used for automatic bounce detection. Have a look at: <http://www.python.org/cgi-bin/faqw-mm.py?req=show&file=faq03.028.htp> Bounce detection is an integral part of every mailing list managing software: It allows users whose email addresses are not valid any longer to be removed from the list without the need for a human being to manually look at logfiles to determine this.
