Hi,

We are using Mailman version 2.1.15.

I have read everything I can find about filtering for a member of a sub list to
send to an umbrella list and not have it moderated.
However, it doesn't seem to work for me.

I was wondering if someone could comment on my setup to see where I might be
going wrong.

I have two lists:
    Testlist@domain
    Testumbrella@domain

Testlist@ has me as a user;  -- n...@yahoo.com
--There are no filters set on this list.

TestUmbrella@ has 1 member; --Testlist@domain
I have tried many filter combinations but currently I have set

--Sender Filter --> Non-member filters --> accept_these_nonmembers has @Testlist
-- -- I have tried @Testlist, Testlist@domain, ^@TestList, nothing

--Recipient Filter --> acceptable_alias has @Testlist
-- -- same tries as Sender filter both independent and combined combinations.

My goal:
    A member of the sublist (Testlist@) posts to umbrella list (Testumbrealla@)
and because they are a member of a sub list, Testumbrealla@ will let their
message go to anyone/list subscribed to Testumbrella.

The way I have set it up seems to be how the FAQ says to do so, yet it keeps
bouncing saying that my email is a non-member email.
Most members will not have an email of the same DOMAIN as the list so filtering
by domain is not acceptable.
I would like to not have to individually add each member of any sublist under
an umbrella to the accetable members filters but that is what it is looking
like.

Am I filtering incorrectly?
Can I accomplish my goal?

Thanks for any help,
David Dammann
