This will work, but you will also want to subscribe <other_list-bounces@otherserver> (or possibly <other_list-bounces+yourlist=yourserver@otherserver> if the other list is VERPing) to your list and set it to no mail to avoid have posts held for not being from a member and avoid accepting nonmember posts.
