Aha, I misread the earlier mail. I thought the problem was that nothing was getting written to debians syslog, which isn't a mailman problem, but, ah one I know about. Amazing how your mind grabs the solution you are familiar with even when the problem doesn't fit. At any rate, sorry about that.
