You could, but then The from Munging would not be applied to messages
From: addresses in domains that publish DMARC p=reject, and all the
recipient addresses whose ISP/ESP honor DMARC will bounce the post

We took great pains to ensure that DMARC From: munging did not alter the
behavior of reply and reply-all in at least most MUAs
