Well, for some cases that could work. But for some emails I like to send them early in the morning so that it appears as one of the first new e-mails in the inbox when they open their email. However getting up early and doing that is less attractive. Or when working late and not wanting to send emails in the middle of the night, I’m not sure if that’s actually frowned upon, but in that case setting it to early morning and not having to deal with it would be great.
It sounds like "System Preferences > Energy Saver > Schedule" might be of some help to you here.
