I don't think you can get a blank line in the middle of a list item that 
spans across several lines.


#### 3 - tables
This is least important for myself, still I am curious on how to 
create one.

This does not work:

| cell7 | cell8 | cell9 |

You need to separate a header row. See the

(Tables-section)

    |-------|-------|-------|
    | cell1 | cell2 | cell3 |
    | cell4 | cell5 | cell6 |

gives

|-------|-------|-------|

| cell7 | cell8 | cell9 |
