What does not memory consumption look like on the machine as a whole?
My MailMate typically runs around 1.5 Gb. Overall I typically have
500-750Mb of swap in play.
I do feel the pinch of 8Gb from time to time but I manage. MailMate and
my browser are the largest consumer.
