Depending of the mailbox I have, more or less duplicates
What you could do to verify:
- select duplicates
- move the selected mails to a separate mailbox “duplicates”
- then make a smart mailbox which looks for the “identical” mail
remaining in the source mail box and compare
The condition of the smart mailbox would look like:
• Any of the following mailboxes “Original_box”
• Message_ID is in “duplicates” Message_ID
Not 100% sure if Message_ID is the best key but at least you could give
it a try and see what pops up.
Keep in mind to only use 1 mail box because when you would like to move
the mails back you could be in trouble ( been there done that :-) )

With this version I feel that “Select duplicates” is behaving
correctly.
