Hi Randall,

A lot to unpack. Too many issues with going back to that beta. So, I’ll list
them broken out from your original email. As follows.

I can’t replicate your exact build, OS -so using my machine OS and Test Build
of 2.0 LKP (Last Known Product). Plus not paid to do so.
My system: MailMate/6292/8E0C2B09-5E7C-51C0-xxxx-30C066Dxxxx
26.5.0/arm64/Mac16,5/14.

My app does NOT open a Message (yours) in a new window when double clicking it
(settings difference?). Rather it auto-searches for similar messages in the
main message window revealing all similar ones.

Be that as it may, the File>Open Menu does open your message in a new window,
which duplicates the action you refer to for me. Just trying to follow the same
conditions… Once opened and selected, I go to Menu>View>Choose Font and select
either a size font change or a new font. Both work fine and DO reflect the same
change in the Main window AMD the separate View of that message (different from
other messages in the main window where that message is showing as well. No
comment as to what desirable.

My default System(?) font size is way too small (11pt) to use so my MM setting
is Consolas 18pt. Notably, when setting font to System Default the Consolas
font selection highlight (blue) remain on (bug?).

Reset to Default Font. The message to affect sometimes has to be re-set when
the Font window is NOT on the same screen as the message being selected
(definitely bug!). Works other wise. Did I say that I use multiple screens?

Confirmed here. Only size and font changes are accommodated in the messages and
header on the one message in both places and it affects header display and
message body. Other messages are unaffected in my version. DEV version
improvements is unclear to me as to whether and which point this was addressed,
however it seems this was address in the history from your version to mine.

Styles don’t seem to work on either the message or body though, yet they do
work on the main window in certain parts! (Bug?) Not assessing the
double-clicking.

This version I can see the current selection in a sidebar showing the font
(upgrade fix?)

I tried to duplicate your testing in my version (6292), my OS and got different
results, so I want to say SOME of your issues were possibly addressed in
updates but only the DEV can say for sure so, forwarding to Benny. Hope this
helps. Bottom line the documentation isn’t complete and the versioning is
telling us that so many of the changes made involve a lot of work “under the
hood.”

Respectfully,

Henry Seiden
