Ok, so the error message regarding the requests to RIPE is completely
misleading.

I was looking at the examples and did try to add our AS Number or
Ranges in CIDR notation. I did even try to add small (/24) ranges used
by our email services (We offer wholesale email services to other ISP,
so SSL for various domains needs an unique IP per Domain).

Now I just attempted one single IP address of one of our mailservers.
And indeed, it looks like Microsoft does an PTR lookup to generate the
verification email address.

So well, if we have to add every single IP address this will take some
time, but thank you, you obviously know better how SNDS works than the
Microsoft techs do who operate this service :-)
