Don't get me started on OVH.. Aside from allowing widespread obvious spammers and phishing operations, their support team appears to care very little about it, or their reputation..

What is it with companies, when a trusted industry person sends them evidence on those actors, but they want you to jump through a bunch of hoops to report it? Shouldn't they be thankful they were alerted to that threat instead of expecting the reporter to spend a lot of unpaid time to do their work for them?

Sorry, I know .. a rant.. and it probably shouldn't be on this mailing list.. but.. at least that large Brazilian phishing operation on Hetzner that has been going on the last couple of weeks appears to have died down today..

Accountability in the industry has sure gone down hill of late..

try to have happy thoughts this weekend, it's spring.. get out and smell some flowers, and try to remember that there is more to life than fighting mediocrity every day...

Dear mail operators,

I forwarded a message to [email protected], listed in the RIPE database (`whois

Thank you for taking the time to contact the OVHcloud Trust & Safety Team. This
is an automatic reply from our system.
The information provided does not allow us to automatically identify the
customer or service corresponding to your report. Thus, we advise you to
fulfill the following abuse form to be able to take the required measures on :

https://www.ovhcloud.com/en/abuse/

Sendgrid, Maingun, and others, often send you an email asking you to
send them just the headers - and /not/ as an attachment because
attachments are a security risk.

One wonders why they allow their customer accounts to send them then.
