Recently, our images in the emails we send to Gmail are being blocked
with the 429 - Too Many Requests error. Does Gmail have such a
restriction? Or are we being blocked from where we actually host the
images ?
Has anyone encountered the same situation?
The error message doesn't refer to mail directly, but from the
provider/Google Site where you are hosting the image(s) - that's the
current bottle neck.
You can replicate/verify it by trying to access the Request URL
manually, it will throw the 429 error currently.
To me, it is highly likely that other non-Gmail recipients will see the
same error message.
