From my experience, it's more dependent on number of some specific internal "hops" in Google infrastructure the message is passing through, as well as the number of final recipients. I recently sent a single message to address that turned out to be some kind of alias forwarding to a group of people on Google, and I got around 10 duplicated DMARC reports back, plus a rejection message regarding part of the addresses (from quite a time, Google rejects all mail sent from my address to @gmail.com, but does pass through mail to Google Workspace hosted domains; seems that in this case some recipients were on Gmail - they didn't get the message, and some were on hosted domains - they did). -- Regards, Jaroslaw Rafa [email protected] -- "In a million years, when kids go to school, they're gonna know: once there was a Hushpuppy, and she lived with her daddy in the Bathtub." _______________________________________________ mailop mailing list [email protected] https://list.mailop.org/listinfo/mailop
