Weird… I can't reproduce it now. It was definitely happening a lot recently. I'm using the latest beta from Check For Updates (build 1129), with the following Labs items:
Offline Picasa previews (don't remember enabling that one, but whatever) Quick Links (don't remember enabling that one either) Pictures in Chat Signature Tweaks Custom Date Formats Muzzle Default 'Reply to all' Quote selected text Forgotten attachment detector Mark as Read button Text Messaging (SMS) in chat Undo Send Title Tweaks Inserting Images (JUST added—didn't have it before) Google Calendar Gadget It may be that this was a Google issue that was just fixed. For now, consider it closed, and I'll let you know if it manifests again.
