I see. Well technically gmail as a whole has been in 'beta' for 5 years, so it's hard to say what google means by 'beta' for its products. I just hope mailplaneapp isn't waiting for Gears to come out of beta to release 2.1 out of beta, because who knows how long it will be. E-mail is something that I don't want to subject to errors, bugs, and other risks. I rather just hold off on the 'offline mode' in favor of stability.
