I second that issue.
I've tried re-installing Gears 0.5.30.0, but it disallows me from doing so.
 It seems that the installer only works with 10.5-only systems, as per its
pre-install checks.

I'm guessing that we'll need to wait for Google to release a Snow Leopard
compatible version, which I honestly think they should've done beforehand
(even Mailplane has been certified Snow Leopard friendly!)

OT: for those of us upgrading to SL, do check out
http://snowleopard.wikidot.com/ for a virtually complete list of apps that
works (or doesn't) with the new OS.
