I have just tried with the "Copy as Gmail URL" and this one works perfectly. So, i would say, the problem is related just to the Delete key... Maybe, just remembering the File->Delete menu entry would resolve the issue... Unless would exists a way to assign a "composite" menu entry (e.g. "File->Delete" instead of just "Delete") to shortcuts in the System Preferences panel... > Thanks.
