Hi All, I've had this problem for months now. I've emailed Rubens about it but from his reply it seemed that he hadn't come across it before. So I'm mailing it here in the hope that I'm not alone.
The problem I am finding is that when I select a message from the menubar icon or via a Growl notification, the message fails to load. The Mailplane window will open and I'll get the usual Gmail loading bar. However the bar will never fill completely and I'll never get the message. After some time google notices that things are taking too long and offers the old html option. If I get a notification of a new email I like to click on the Growl bubble or use the menubar icon to access the mail. It just seems more direct than opening the main Mailplane window first, then clicking on the email in the inbox. I have Mailplane configured to close rather than hide the main window. So, each time I open Mailplane it has to access gmail again. The reason I moved to Mailplane is that it uses less cpu than leaving a GMail window open in a browser so I don't want to go back to that option. So, anyone else share these problems?
