This seems like a bug. I'm using 2.2.1. When a chat message arrives with Mailplane in the background, it puts up a Growl notification. This is good. When I click that Growl to get to the message, it reloads the whole window which closes the chat. This is bad. I can't even see what the person wrote unless I look in my archives.
