Hi David,

To find out if it's a AppleScript or Mailplane problem, please try the 
following:
1) Open a conversation
2) Using the little title bar icon: drag the icon to your Desktop to create a 
link (see attached screenshot)
3) Go back to the Gmail overview
4) Double click the link on your desktop 


Does it work? If yes, then it's maybe an AppleScript problem. Could you post 
your AppleScript or Workflow so that I could have a look?
