yang pertama memang harus. ada beberapa s/w yg jalan di
dual/multiprosesor baru optimal kalo ditambah patch ini.
sebenernya masih ada juga patch dari microsoft, cuma lupa linknya. tidak
cuma amd soalnya
untuk yg kedua, tidak perlu untuk windows xo sp2 atau vista. fungsinya
untuk mengaktifkan fitur cool & quit, sehingga, kcepatan prosesor,
memori dan besarnyanya voltage jadi dinamis untuk efisiensi,
menyesuaikan dengan task yg dijalankan. jadinya daya listrik juga cukup
dipake secukupnya, kecil jika beban ringan, prosesor juga
istirahat/dingin karena clock juga diturunkan. tapi akan menjadi full
kalo beban bertambah, misal buat main gim berat atau rendering dll.
tapi jangan lupa set juga di control panel>energy/batere menjadi minimal
power management.
