*Please respond immediately with updated resumes TO [EMAIL PROTECTED] * Position in CA Duration: 3+months Position is very hot Must have good com skills OVERVIEW: The Release Engineer will have a proven track record developing automated tools and processes to build and deploy releases in a managed service environment. ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS: * Skilled in either Changeman DS, Harvest, Ant, NAnt, Ant Depot and UNIX shell scripting (or other appropriate scripting languages.) Strong exposure to Changemand DS is a must. * Experience with a Incident Ticket Management system such as Remedy * Able to design and implement a robust web support system for communicating build issues and status. * Able to administer, manage and maintain source control system (preferably Changeman DS); experience in sizing, tuning, backout, rollouts, etc. * Collaborate with the Development teams and Safeway Configuration Management team to implement and develop nightly and weekly build process * Excellent communication skills; able to interface with multiple groups across the company. * Provide expertise and mentorship to the rest of the organization regarding software configuration management and code stability. * Advocate new tools and processes to continuously improve build and source control efficiency. * Able to create and provide documentation for review and distribution. * 5+ years hands-on experience as a build or release engineer working in UNIX (Solaris/LINUX) and Windows environments. * Experience with Open-Source development tools and systems e.g. Ant, Java, CruiseControl, Maven. * Expert knowledge of build, release and configuration management practices. * Experience working in a heteregeneous environment. * Demonstrated problem solving and troubleshooting skills. * Self-Starter; ability to quickly learn new tools and products. * Cooperative attitude and style. * Excellent verbal and written communication skills. * BSCS or other technical degree or equivalent experience. -- James Astoline Inc Phone : 732-889-1407 E-mail : [EMAIL PROTECTED] www.astoline.com --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Mainframe-IBM" group.
