MessageWay. Reviews, analyzes, and modifies programming systems including
encoding, testing, debugging and installing to support the implementation of

to clarify program objectives.
Required Skills
Minimum of 3 - 5 years of experience with file transmission technologies
(ie. FTP, SFTP, Connect Direct, network administration, shell scripting, and
Unix utilities.)

Designs, develops, analyzes, tests, and reviews the quality of existing
data. Develops test scripts and testing plans. Develops database and
warehousing designs across multiple platforms and computing environments.
Analyzes the business requirements of the user community and design logical
and physical data models using entity relationship and/or dimensional
modeling tools. Performs additional job duties as required.Expert in data
management, database management systems, logical data modeling, and physical
database development. Understands the principles, theories, practices, and
techniques of project management. Understands business issues and functions
that they support. Works on one or more projects as a project team member,
or sometimes as a project leader. Designs and supports DBMS systems of
medium to high complexity. Works on most projects independently, requiring
some coaching to interact with multiple IT groups and business units.
Provides technical coaching to business functions and lower level data
analysts on moderately complex issues.
REQUIRED SKILLS:

Experience with Cognos 8 required.

requirements for business applications. Must be able to determine and

Sr. level DB2 LUW and Informix DBA. Your responsibilities will include
designing, installing, maintaining and upgrading the enterprises production
databases. Provide technical expertise in the use of database technology. Be
accountable for the overall performance of the enterprises database
environment. Work closely with clients, business analysts, systems
programmers, and application developers to define and resolve information
flow and content issues---helping to transform business requirements into
environment specific databases. Monitor and analyze performance metrics and
allocate database resources to achieve optimum database performance.
Performs additional job duties as required.
Required Skills:
Sr. level DB2 LUW dba with 5 to 7 years of heavy DB2 LUW and Informix DBA
experience in a Windows environment and Unix (Solaris) and AS400
environment.
Knowledge of Veritas netbackup software
Proficient in a DB2 multi partitioned environment
Proficient in backup and recovery
Good written and verbal communication skills
Unix Scripting
Windows Scripting
Solid knowledge of database administration, database monitoring and tuning,
logical data modeling, and physical database development.
Understands the principles, theories, practices and techniques of project
management.
Basic understanding of how the technology influences business strategic
direction, enabling definition and integration of technical plans supporting
the enterprise business functions and processes.
Experience supporting one or more databases of medium complexity (complexity
defined by database size, technology used, and system feeds and interfaces)
with multiple concurrent users, ensuring control, integrity and
accessibility of the data.

Middleware Specialist with experience on various J2EE Application Servers
(such as Jboss, Apache and/or Tomcat), Linux / Solaris Operating servers &
monitoring tools. Administer Apache web servers; Adjust installation
parameters for servers; Assess server performance and modify configuration
parameters; and Modify object names and locations.
Skill Requirements:
Experience of configuration, installation & managing production support
environment of Apache web servers.
Experience of troubleshooting & fixing production issues

Rate: 50/hr
