*Sr. Solaris Systems Engineer* We are looking for entrepreneurial, resourceful, and technically capable people to be an integral part of the consulting services side of ecfirst.com's on-site development and delivery team. *JOB DURATION: 2 months* *LOCATION: San Francisco, CA* *PAY RATE: $50/hr* *Position Description:* Acts as a lead in providing expert technical support and consultation for operating systems or subsystems. Conducts and coordinates the analysis, planning, and implementation of systems software and/or hardware. Analyzes, designs, codes, tests, debugs, maintains, modifies, and documents operating systems. Defines systems software and/or hardware requirements and determines system specifications and/or customizations. Coordinates the design of subsystems and integration of total systems. Identifies and resolves highly complex problems. Provides direction and/or guidance to less experienced staff. *Minimum Experience:* 4 yr degree plus 7-10 yrs exp - Looking for a Senior Solaris Systems Engineer in San Francisco. This person will be primarily responsible for supporting our effort migrating to Solaris 10 zones & containers and miscellaneous infrastructure support in the lab. *Qualifications:* - 6-10years hands on experience as a Solaris Systems Administrator: including installation, administration, maintenance, security and design. - Expert level knowledge and experience of creating and migrating to a Solaris 10 zones and containers infrastructure. - Experience with Jumpstart - Hands on experience with Veritas netback-up and SAN a plus. - Advanced analytical and troubleshooting skills. - Demonstrated ability to identify and resolve complex system problems. - Experience in clustering and high-availability infrastructures - Demonstrated ability to work in a fast paced ever changing environment. - Ability to work with multiple vendors on multiple projects to meet our deadline. *Platform and Skill Set Expertise: * Analysis Skills: Business Analysis -- ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Thanks & Regards… Mahesh Atreyapurapu.
