*Length: 6 months * *START DATE: Jan. 5, 2009* Rate: $40/hr *They would prefer someone local, but will evaluate out of state candidates*. (They will hire over the phone) * * *JOB DESCRIPTION: WEB ADMINISTRATOR * - Manage/support/troubleshoot/monitor server (Unix and windows) and weblogic environments - Work with application teams to perform build/package/deploy functions and resolve deployment/migration issues as they arise - (may require working after 5:00 PM and weekends) - Develop documents and procedures - Knowledge of change management and migration process - Will work on the application support team. - This is *not *a web support position, it's the server support they will be doing. - This person will need to be able to troubleshoot tickets (Remedy ticketing system). - Environment is Web logic Application Server, Unix (Solaris), Java Web server. - Will be supporting trouble tickets, upgrades, patches, load balancing experience preferred, will also do support during work hours and then every some after hours support on rotation. - They can do this from home should they need to do after hours support.. This person should have between 2 - 5 years experience.
