2 Start Date Mon, 19-Jan-09 Years Experience 9 years Comments Basic Qualifications: • 5 years experience in the design, implementation and support of mission-critical, very large (350 GB) Oracle 9i/10g databases. • Significant experience with technology features in Oracle such as Partitioning, Resource Manager, Materialized View, Change Data Capture, Statspack, Flashback Recovery, RMAN, OEM, Grid Control, Options available in executing database statistics • Strong Oracle database performance analysis and tuning skills. • Experience producing logical and physical data models in partnership with the business, data architects and applications developers. • Some programming experience (e.g. shell, perl, SQL/Plus) • Broad knowledge of related infrastructure, tools and services in support of Oracle databases such as SANs, backup technologies, database administration, and business continuity • Ability to manage and prioritize multiple, concurrent projects while meeting aggressive deadlines in a fast-paced environment • Ability to learn/adapt quickly to a rapidly changing environment - ability to manage change • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) and inter-personal skills (listening, conflict management, approachability, negotiations). • Strong analytical and problem resolution skills, strong organizational skills, and ability to analyze business problems and opportunities • Experience in large 24X7 production IT operations Desired Qualifications: Working knowledge of Informatica for Extract, Transform and Load for Operational Data Stores and Data Warehouses • Experience with AIX and EMC SAN storage as infrastructure components to support deployment of Oracle databases • Experience with tools utilized in the design and support of Oracle databases, such as TOAD, Erwin Data Modeler • Experience with designing and delivering Oracle databases in support of major applications, such as Peoplesoft Financials, Maximo, Indus, SPL -- Skybell Astoline.Inc [email protected] Cont.No:732-658-9251. --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Mainframe1952" group.
