Duration:* 6 months* Start: *2/2/09* Rate: *$30 all-inclusive* *DESIRED SKILLS:* - Excellent understanding of LAN/WAN concepts including hubs, switches, CSU/DSU, routers (Cisco, Bay, etc.); - IPT/VoIP support a plus; - Ability to systematically troubleshoot to problem isolation. - General understanding of network fundamentals including IP addressing, routing, and switching. - Thorough knowledge of network monitoring applications (with custom bolt-ons – SMARTS, for example) and their use as a network monitoring tool; - Basic understanding of network performance management. - Various ticketing systems, including Remedy, USD; also including external vendor ticketing systems for the monitoring of AT&T, Sprint, and other vendor actions during events. - Utilize SMARTS to monitor LAN/WAN devices; analysis of SMARTS information to determine status of WAN/LAN devices and determine severity levels and customer impact - Analysis of router, switch, wireless access point, etc. output to help troubleshoot network events - Analysis of network diagrams to determine scope of outages and correlation of events. - Lotus Notes / multiple databases - Tel-alert paging server system - Excellent telephone/customer service skills - Excellent organizational and verbal/written communication skills - Above-average technical aptitude for learning and applying new technologies and processes quickly. -- Skybell Astoline.Inc [email protected] Cont.No:732-658-9251. --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Mainframe1952" group.
