Job Title: FileMaker v.9 Developer Location: New York, NY Duration: 6+ months* * Deadline: ASAP RESPONSIBILITIES: FileMaker (Version 9) database development. Maintenance and support of existing in-house solution as well as new development. Define database requirements based on user and process requirements and translate these into a database design. *Filemaker 9 Database development*, incl. web-based and native GUI. Design and develop Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) solutions to other systems (e.g. SAP). Establish and administrate database server environment. At least 5 years experience in database development. Excellent interpersonal and analytical skills. Creative, enthusiastic and self motivated team-player with the ability to grasp new ideas and integrate them into desired results. Works efficiently under pressure and managing timelines and resources efficiently. Organized, thorough and detailed oriented, while not loosing site of the overall picture. Extensive *Filemaker experience*: Comprehensive understanding of complex relationships, scripting, calculations, value lists, layout setup, GUI development, plug-ins, FileMaker Server administration, web-publishing, XML, ODBC and the entire FM 9 product line and its features. Strong knowledge of Windows Server Operating System.
