*Please respond to [email protected]*** *Location*: Northbrook, IL *Length*: 6 months w/option for additional time *Overview:* Client is look for SAN SME including zoning, LUN security, and HBA configuration. Consultant must have a solid understanding of SAN and NAS storage technologies and protocols. Consultant must also have SME in enterprise backup and data protection technologies *Requirement:* *1. Must have 3-5 yrs architecting, installing, configuring, and maintenance of clients multiple processing, storage, and data protection platforms/resources such as:* *a. UNIX/Sun, * *b. Sun/STK tape systems* *c. HDS Storage,* *d. NetApp NAS, * *e. Brocade SAN Switches,* *f. Symantec/VERITAS Net Backup. . * *2. Must be able to analyze requirements for impact on storage infrastructure. * *a. Disk space* *b. Data backup & recovery* *c. Disaster recovery (assist with local testing)* *d. Monitoring storage infrastructure logs* *3. Must be able to Architect & Design/create storage solution. * *a. Implement ‘best practice’ file systems management * *b. Implement ‘best practice’ or defined Customer security policies* *c. Translate requirements into storage and data protection tasks and documentation. * *d. Create change order for execution of tasks by storage administrators. * *4. Excellent personal and written communication skills* *5. Ability to effectively manage relationships with other infrastructure teams, application teams and client representatives* *6.
