*Dear Partner *
*We have an immediate opening for SQL architect position*
*Please send resumes who is local to Chicago, IL*

* *

*Chicago**, IL***

*Candidates Must Have*

-SSIS

-Erwin

-Data Modeling

-Architecture

-Client is using Sql Server not Oracle

*Additional Job Info is below for the candidate:*

The top 5 skills required for the Data Analyst position are as follows:

1. *Expert level* *Logical Data Modeling*. By this we mean the
ability to collaborate on the development of an Enterprise Data Model that
is developed to Boyce Codd Normal form. This means developing Entity,
Relationship and Attribute descriptions that can be used by business users
to understand what is being modeled. Erwin experience is a must..

2. *Expert level Logical to Physical transformation skills*. We are
developing our applications to use a shared database schema, which are in
turn accessed though Shared web services. We work closely with the
Enterprise Architects to ensure that we are leveraging the development of
shared components across individual application development efforts.

3. *Expert level SQL Server database administration skills.* We are
moving all of our data to SQL Server using an approach that facilitates load
balanced execution across clustered and un-clustered database servers. We
are also investing a great deal of effort to automate the periodic refresh
of data in or QA and Integration database server environments. This means
that we have to build automated database refresh and change migration
processes.

4. * Communication. * We have development teams comprised of internal
staff and consultants who are not always familiar with the approach that we
are using for the development of our data storage environment. Sharing is
usually managed through data interchange and federation approaches. We are
not using that type of approach. *We are physically implementing shared data
schema not application specific schemas*. This means that individual
application requirements must be balanced against the data needs for the
entire company. The ability to articulate the company requirements both
verbally and in written form clearly to both technical and non-technical
users is critical to a candidates success in this environment. This means
being able to take charge of the exchange of information in meetings with
both technical staff and non-technical staff and to be able to confirm that
an understanding and agreement has been reached.

5. *Short Cycle Data Mart and Business Intelligence experience using
Microsoft tools*. We are moving away from the traditional method of
populating and use of Data Marts. We are closely synchronizing our
operational data with the data available to our business users through our
data marts. This means that our operational data must be made available in
our data marts very rapidly. Additionally we are not going to rely on the
traditional overnight batch approach for populating data marts. We use our
marts to supply data to the reporting web parts in our web based
applications. This means that the data that is available in our online
applications should be available in our reports which are built upon our
data marts.
