Position ONE (108765): Visual Basic 6.0 Programmer (Consultant) -

Summary:
Technology Services is looking for an experienced Visual Basic 6.0 and C#
programmer responsible for creating and maintaining applications and
procedures for front and back offices.
Experience and Skills:
. Minimum 5 Years VB 6.0/ASP programming with at least 2 years of C#
experience.
. Microsoft Visual SQLServer 2000/2005, ADO, ASP, XML, IIS 6.0 and
.NET framework.
. Financial market knowledge with understanding of Equities and
Fixed Income trading. A must
. Experience with Bloomberg and Reuters data providers is
preferable. Nice to have
. Applicant must be detail-oriented, self-directed and able to work
independently and effectively within a team environment consisting of
front/back office personnel, business analysts and programmers
. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Responsibilities/Tasks:
. Meet with business groups or business analysts and document
requirements.
. Design and develop solutions to integrate with existing framework.
. Perform unit and integration testing.
. Maintain documentation for user, BRP and datacenter support.
. Support and maintain existing applications. Take ownership of
problems and follow up with users as required.
Legacy app written in VB6 and they want to convert to c-sharp. All new apps
will be written in c-sharp. Make some changes to the application. In house
application
Position TWO (108764): C# programmer for Fixed Income Middle Office
development
Duration: 3 - 6 months
Location: New York

Summary:
Technology Services is looking for an experienced C# programmer for Fixed
Income Middle Office development.
Experience and Skills:
. Minimum 5 Years programming.
. Microsoft Visual C#, ASP.NET, Java, TCP/IP, Sockets,
Multi-threading, SQLServer 2005, SSIS, XML
. Financial market knowledge with understanding of the following
instruments: Treasury, Agency, Swaps, Callable Agencies and Options on
Futures.
. Experience with Bloomberg and Reuters API's.
. Applicant must be detail-oriented, self-directed and able to work
independently and effectively within a team environment consisting of
traders, project managers, business analysts and programmers
. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Responsibilities/Tasks:
. Meet with Middle Office group or business analysts and document
requirements.
. Design and develop solutions to integrate with existing framework.
. Perform unit and integration testing.
. Maintain documentation for user, BRP and datacenter support.
