Experience should include the design, development, and testing. • Minimum of four (4) years experience gathering and organizing preliminary analysis of information about costs/benefits, advantages/disadvantages, and technical feasibility of designing and implementing transaction based systems. Desired Skills: • Experience as a Programmer/Analyst II working on a minimum of two (2) IT projects in New York State involving end-to-end integration of data between two or more state agencies. Candidates must indicate project value. • Direct experience working on a minimum of one (1) project involving the integration of data utilizing a Service Oriented Architecture (SOA). • Strong team skills and experience working on multi-disciplinary teams, translating business/program subject matter information into requirements for technical specification and translating technical information for business/program consumption to ensure consistency and common understanding across the stakeholder groups • Experience with process flow and architecture diagram development using tools such as MS Visio for support of written deliverables and assistance in establishing common understanding across the project.
