MUST HAVES:

• 2-4 years of experience working in large to medium sized SharePoint
2010/2007 environments

• 2-4 years of experience with SharePoint .NET Development

• 2-4 years of C# and ASP .Net Development

• 2-4years of experience with SharePoint Look and Feel Customization

• Strong Knowledge of Visual Studio Development (C#, ASP.Net, CSS,AJAX,
XML, XSL, XSLT, Silverlight and the SharePoint Object Model)



DESCRIPTION OF WORK: Primary responsibility will be to help facilitate the
success of the SharePoint portal and collaboration services continue

growth and custom development initiatives. This includes code development,
following SharePoint development best practices when

designing and building solutions. Candidate will be part of a team that is
responsible for day to day operations of the Portal and Collaboration

environments with an on call rotation for SharePoint.



Primary Activities:

• Act as a liaison between IT and the business on key projects and
initiatives

• Support SharePoint 2010, and 2007 Development efforts

• Development of SharePoint features (wsp), custom web parts, aspx forms,
InfoPath forms, and workflows

• Development of custom theme, master pages, or other SharePoint branding
and layout elements

• Development Process Implementation

• Support existing custom developed solutions and application pages

• Maintain custom master pages, page layouts and themes

• Build custom console applications to aid in managing the environment

• Build custom features for collaboration site provisioning and lifecycle
management solutions

• Participate in Tier III on call rotation (24x7) for SharePoint Secondary
Activities

• Implement policies, procedures, and standards

• Microsoft Office SharePoint Server 2007 administration

• Participate in other Portal and Collaboration related integration projects



SKILLS:

• 2-4 years of experience working in large to medium sized SharePoint
2010/2007 environments

• 2-4 years of experience with SharePoint .NET Development

• 2-4 years of C# and ASP .Net Development

• 1-2 years of AJAX and Silverlight

• 1-2 years of experience with InfoPath forms

• 1-2 years of experience with Windows Workflow Foundation

• 2-4 years of experience with business and process Analysis

• 2-4 years of experience with Support Documentation and Coordination

• 2-4 years of experience with SharePoint Console Application development

• 2-4 years of experience with SharePoint Administration and
Troubleshooting

• 2- 4 years of experience with SQL Development including stored procedures
and SSIS

• 2-4years of experience with SharePoint Look and Feel Customization

• 2-4 years of experience with Web Trends administration

• Experience with business application integration, SQL Reporting Services
or



Excel Services Additional Beneficial Skills:

• Strong Knowledge of Visual Studio Development (C#, ASP.Net, CSS, AJAX,
XML, XSL, XSLT, Silverlight and the SharePoint Object Model)

• Microsoft Team System 2008 experience a plus

• Extensive Microsoft Office Integration

• Experience with Quest Web Parts

• Experience with Nintex Work Flows

• Experience with Forefront for SharePoint

• General Understanding of SAN technology

• General Understanding of Networking technology

• General Understanding of Information Architecture Strategies

• Various Project/Development Methodologies (Agile, RAD, Waterfall)



Broad skills required to successfully support a Shared Services
Organization:

• Practical experience coding in Visual Basic and/or Visual Basic
Scripting. Knowledge of Windows Management Instrumentation (WMI),
SharePoint API.

• Industry certifications such as MCSD and MCPD are not required but highly
preferred.



Professional skills required to successfully support a Shared Services
Organization:

• Strong written and oral communication skills, including the ability to
facilitate communication and coordination with network users throughout the
company

• Attention to detail

• Must be able to deal appropriately with confidential information

• Ability to work with minimal guidance

• Solid professional and customer service skills

• Provide client support, develop documentation and manage processes when
changes occur
