Primarily responsible for PL/SQL development with Oracle Full Text software, data design, acquisition, load strategy and business intelligence reporting. This position also has accountability for developing and communicating architectural data roadmaps. She/he will assist in continuous improvement efforts in enhancing performance and providing increased functionality. The candidate should have excellent communication and professional leadership skills, both necessary to successfully collaborate with teams and individuals across various departments. The ability to learn and socialize new ideas and technology, make recommendations and gather team consensus to move forward is essential. *Minimum Requirements* · Bachelor’s Degree · 6+ years of experience developing, deploying and supporting databases and database applications with high volume and complex data processing. · 6+ years of PL/SQL and SQL development and performance tuning. · Experience with Oracle Databases. · Solid understanding of different software lifecycle methodologies. · Experience in Business Intelligence methodologies and approaches. · Result oriented with the ability to master new technology quickly to provide business benefit. *Preferred* · Oracle Text experience. · Master’s Degree in Computer Science, MIS or related. · 9+ years of experience developing, deploying and supporting databases and database applications in a 24x7 environment. · Perl, Linux experience · Industry experience specifically Oracle Certifications (OCP) and/or Microsoft SQL Server Certifications. · Master Data Management, Advanced Analytics and Data Warehousing experience.
