Please share suitable profiles towards below position to vi...@pronixinc.com *Position : GIS Programmer* *Location: Austin, TX* *Duration: 6+ Months* Need a GIS Programmer to help design the geospatial database schemas and then build/setup and maintain the system. - *5+ years of direct experience working with GIS Tools and applications such as ESRI’s ArcMap, ArcCatalog, and ArcGIS Server*. Knowledge of GIS data structures, including topology and also must be familiar with practices for editing GIS data. - *5+ years’ experience working with scripting languages. Python and JavaScript knowledge are essential.* - *Should be able to work with JQuery.* Should know how to use JavaScript and Ajax/XHR to create responsive web clients that consume JSON services. Experience with a JavaScript framework like Dojo, Ember.JS, or Angular is a plus. - Ability to coordinate work and communicate effectively with other team members. - Can effectively document algorithms and programming APIs implemented by code they developed. - Is able to investigate problems and find solutions even when the initial requirements may be incompletely spelled out. - Can quickly learn new technology and apply it in practice. - Knowledge of, and ability to work with Service Oriented Architecture (SOA).
