Please include your employer details as well. *Job Title* Application Developer *Project Location* Oak Brook, IL *Duration* 9 months /Contract *Skills Required and Job Description:* *MOI Telephonic + Face to Face* * Responsibilities:* · Develop, integrate and implement business application systems, web sites, and web services. · Describe technical approaches and solutions in writing. · Analyze, define and document technical requirements for data, workflow, logical processes, interfaces with other systems, internal and external checks and controls and outputs. · Research issues and recommend appropriate course of action. · Provide estimate of effort required to complete assigned tasks. · Provide technical assistance by responding to inquiries re: errors/problems, or questions about business applications. · Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending workshops, reviewing professional publications, establishing personal networks and participating in professional organizations as appropriate. · Support existing application systems as required. *Requirements:* · A Bachelor’s degree (B.A. or B.S.; Area of study in information technology preferred). · If you're the right Developer for us, you will have at least 2-3 years (5+ yrs for Sr. level) of hands-on experience in .NET development and work well in a team environment as well as on your own. · Should also possess excellent communication and problem solving skills. · We're looking for someone with passion for application development. · Should have experience integrating solutions with enterprise applications and third party systems. · Definitely need strong knowledge of .NET, C#, ASP.NET, CSS, HTML, JavaScript, JQuery, AJAX, Team Foundation Server, Visual Studio, and T-SQL. · Pluses that just might set you apart from the competition include: experience with an ORM such as NHibernate or Entity Framework, Agile development, Test-Driven Design, Claims Based Security, interfacing with the Cloud, Automated testing, User Experience design, and Responsive web design.
