*Description*

As a *Senior Agile Scrum Master* you will be responsible for facilitating
one or more scrum teams to support the delivery of strategic technology
products. This position requires individuals who are not only experienced
as a Scrum Master, but have extensive track records of delivering high
quality systems and products. You will need to have a strong understanding
of and hands-on experience with Agile Methods, especially Scrum. In
addition to acting in the role of Scrum Master, the position requires close
collaboration with enterprise Agile Coaches to ensure compliance with the
Scrum implementation approach. You will also be responsible for the
coaching of teams on scrum practices to ensure benefit from and adherence
to core agile principles is achieved.

*Primary Responsibilities*

   - Act as Scrum Master for 1-4scrum teams with a focus on guiding the
   teams towards improving the way they work
   - Facilitate sprint planning, retrospective and sprint demos
   - Assist the product owner with keeping the backlog groomed
   - Ensure cross-team coordination
   - Reach out to the larger company network for impediment removal
   - Maintain relevant metrics that help the team see how they are doing
   - Coach and mentor other scrum masters in our product team. Ensure that
   our ways of working are consistent across the teams
   - Liaise between the developers and User Experience/Visual Designers.
   Foster better communication between the disciplines
   - Act as a liaison to assigned project manager
   - Take responsibility for managing dependencies between our team and
   third parties, release managers, or between our team and other scrum teams
   - Actively contribute to the company's Agile and Lean Community through
   participation in the internal Agile Community of Practice and Scrum Master
   Forums

   transparency to the business about development and grow business trust
   - Quick learner - Must be able to quickly gain a high level
   understanding of the technical and business domains of the Scrum teams



*Required Qualifications*

   - 7+ years of IT experience
   - 3+ years of experience as a Scrum Master
   - 1+ year experience as a Scrum Master working on large scale, multiple
   Scrum team projects
   - Experience acting as a Scrum Master for multiple scrum teams
   - Experience with Rally



*Assets*

   - Scrum Master Industry certification
   - Healthcare experience
   - SAFe - Scaled Agile Framework experience
   - Understanding of other processes and methodologies and can speak
   intelligently about them and leverage other techniques to provide value to
   a team/enterprise
   - Understanding of the value of commitments to delivery made by a
   development team
   - Familiarity with common Agile practices, service-oriented
   environments, and better development practices
   - Participation in industry agile communities
