   - Location: IL
   - Duration: 12 M

   - Create software packages utilizing various software packaging tools
   such: Admin Studio and VMware ThinApp
   - Maintain technical support documentation that aligns to packaging
   standards and processes
   - Utilize System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM) 2007 to perform job
   duties, to include (but not limited to) configuration, client health
   management, and software deployment
   - Responsible for the automated deployment of Microsoft Windows
   Operating System patches as well as Microsoft and 3rd party application
   patches
   - Responsible to maintaining documentation that defines the BCS security
   standards and job processes. Operation, configuration and maintenance of
   SCCM 2007 (to include SCUP/WSUS)
   - Required to provide afterhours support for software delivery related
   to Change Management and/or Problems and Incidents
   - Implementation of overall security and configuration policies on
   client workstations throughout the Command, execution of daily work must be
   in compliance with DoD Information Assurance standards and practice
   - Resolve issues relating to operating system imaging, patch deployment,
   reporting patch/security compliance of domain-connected assets and
   resolution of client related problems and incidents
   - Windows OS image creation and deployment (via SCCM/PXE)
   - Application packaging/virtualization
   - Windows system administration
   - Familiarity with utilizing System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM),
   Liquidware Labs Stratusphere and the application deployment process
   - Familiarity with Knowledge Management/Incident Management systems
   (e.g. BMC REMEDY)
   - Automated deployment of Microsoft Windows Operating System patches
   - Configure, maintain, and import/deploy patches via SCCM/WSUS
   - Report patching/security compliance
   - Automated deployment of Microsoft and 3rd party application patches
   - Maintain/create documentation that supports security standards and
   processes
   - Configure and maintain SCCM (to include WSUS sync)
   - Provide after-hours support for issues encountered
   - Adhere to and implement overall security and configuration policies
   - Compliance with DoD Information Assurance standards and practices
   - Work with internal and external teams to resolve client related issues
   - Provide support to the client’s Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI)
   implementation

*Minimum Qualifications:*

   - Current Windows (Windows 7, XP and Vista) desktop operating system
   experience
   - Must be proficient creating reports, providing software usage
   analysis, performing inventories, version management, and identifying
   baseline performance using various tools
   - Familiarity with OS and application patching
   - Knowledge of Registry Editing
   - SCCM/WSUS architecture knowledge.
   - Ability to decipher/troubleshoot events in event logs
   - DoD Secret clearance is required, and once hired, a Top Secret
   clearance and special accesses eligibility is required
   - Familiarity with the DISA STIG requirements for Windows-based
   workstations
   - Previous patching/remediation experience
   - Accurate documentation of processes and procedures
   - Bachelor’s degree is preferred but appropriate experience will be
   considered in lieu of a degree
   - Experience with the Microsoft Office Suite of applications
   - Excellent customer service, written and verbal skills
   - DoD 8570 compliance certified, to include at a minimum one of the
   following: CompTIA A+, (within 6 months of hire if not already obtained),
   CompTIA Net+, (within 6 months of hire if not already obtained), CompTIA
   Security+ (within 6 months of hire if not already obtained)
