*Position:- SAP FICO Functional Data Analyst* *Location:- Duluth, GA Duration:- 6 months* *MOI:- Telephonic + Skype* *Responsibilities Description:* · Acts as the single point of contact for assigned conversion data objects · Manages conversion playbook (start to finish migration process) for assigned conversion data objects for all data loads (all testing cycles and production load) · Facilitates communication between all teams involved · Provides coordination and assistance for data migration activities · Works with business process teams (BAs) and legacy system users to confirm conversion requirements, identify data sources, assists in resolving data mapping and data integrity issues · Documents source system conversion requirements, and develops the source functional definition; Coordinates Legacy IT tasks related to data extraction; Assists with versioning and control of legacy files Defines/refines mapping rules from legacy to SAP (supported by BAs with regard to SAPs needs for data and processes) · Translates the source -> SAP data model requirements to technical development resources; Develops high-level technical design documents to extract, transform and load data into SAP · Performs quality review and technical unit tests on the programs · Creates/executes/documents the TDV (Technical Data Validation) scripts for assigned conversion data objects · Assists with the creation /execution/documentation of the BDV (Business Data Validation) scripts for assigned conversion data objects · Takes part in both test reviews and the approval process of the conversion object life cycle · Champions data related issues to completion · Works closely with the legacy data owner and future business data owner to quickly identify data issues · Tracks progress and facilitates resolution of roadblocks · Performs pre-checks and validations for all data loads (all testing cycles and production load) : · Works with Legacy IT to analyze source data and verify consistency and completeness (e.g. SO extract has 5K lines failing due to missing material master x-ref) · Analyzes transformed data for pre-load technical validation · Analyzes SAP data for post-load technical validation · Ensures all record counts, queries and reports required for business validation and sign-off are provided · Performs initial load error analysis; Summarizes errors and guides the business to refine mapping or X-references · Facilitates data analysis and cleansing efforts; Use results from pre-checks, validations, error analysis and refining mapping and x-ref values until acceptable quality and quantity of data has been achieved · Maintain a strong working relationship with their corresponding DMO RTL developers *Required Skill Set:* · 3-5 years functional data and business process experience for relevant master data domains · 5-7 years collecting business and data transformation rules and completing conversion design document for source systems · 5-7 years data migration experience related to SAP implementations (RTL knowledge or similar ETL tool knowledge a big plus) · Excellent communications skills · Ability to manage all data related tasks (loads, data issues, TDV, BDV, etc.) as it pertains to a given data domain · Must be comfortable working to deadlines and escalating as required Regards, Vijay Saraswat(Sr Technical Recruiter) Tel Off: 248.565.4747 | Ext. 108| F: 248.254.7211 | Email Id: vsaras...@tekshapers.com <hgul...@tekshapers.com> | W: www.tekshapers.com GTalk: vsaras...@tekshapers.com <ras...@tekshapers.com>/*vijay.rgtalent* Tekshapers Inc. |1441 E Maple Rd,Suit#301,Troy,Michigan, USA * Please consider the environment before printing this email.
