Experience: 6+ Project start date: immediate Role: Technical Lead 8+-9+ only yrs exp, need lead JD: Responsibilities * Understand existing system, functionally and technically, by going through documentation, code and discussions with customer SMEs. Proactively come out with gaps in understanding and initiate discussions with customer SMEs to close the gaps. Document understanding gained, where needed. * Take part in discussions with business on new functionalities to be built in. Understand user requirements and come out with corresponding functional and non-functional system requirements. Document the same. * Come out with optimized solution design and related context diagrams for implementing the requirements on the existing system. * Come out with optimized technical specifications based on finalized solution design and context diagrams. * Performing problem analysis, design and documentation of problem solutions where needed. * Participate in review of solution design, context diagrams and technical specification documents. * Articulate ideas clearly and get involved in discussions with customer SMEs on explaining the solution and in getting sign-off on deliverables. * Ensure that the team sitting at offshore are brought up-to-date on the system. Provide them clarity wherever needed. Guide them in coming out with good outputs during the project execution. Mandatory skills * 6+ years' experience in development using Java technologies such as Core Java and J2EE. * Good knowledge of Oracle database and coding in SQL and PL/SQL(stored procs, packages, procedures etc.). * Good knowledge of modeling tools such as ErWin and Visio. * Good knowledge on EJB, Java webservices, Hibernate and Spring. * Good experience of documentation using MS Word and MS PPT. * Knowledge of coming out with optimized performance tuned designs. * Understanding of the use of frameworks, re-usable components and design patterns. * Experience in working in Agile methodology and good experience of Continuous Integration and Deployment Best Regards Ankit Kumar Sagwal IDC Technologies Inc.
